My name is Jackie Landy and I am the Founder of MyVegasMommy.com.
I started this site July 26th, 2009 and I have enjoyed providing Las Vegans a way to "shop smarter". Of course, it is my passion for helping you to save that led me to start this site.
I have been blessed to be a stay at home mom for the past 8 years. I met my husband, Tony, in 1999 and fell in love with him instantly. He is a great father and I have enjoyed being his wife for the past 13 years.
We decided it was time to have a baby, after being married for 5 years, and found out it was twins!! That will shake anyone’s world and turn it upside down. Two years later we decided to have another baby. And this past year we went for the "baby girl" but was blessed with Baylor (our newest baby boy).
That makes 4 boys!
Jack (7), Jude (7), AJ (5) and Baylor (under 1).

With being a household of 6 and having one income, I am always looking for ways to save money and still provide things to my kids that not only they need but be able to fulfill some of their wants too! Things may get a little hectic, but saving money makes me feel like I am doing my part. I was very career ambitious and “couponing” gives me a sense of accomplishment like no other. It is very addicting and I love it!

I know I've been here before when I spotted your link on my "coupon blogs by state" page, but I'm not sure I've ever read your "About me" section. I officially love your blog.
ReplyDeleteI thought I was reading about myself minus the last child. I too have a set of 4 year old twins (boy/girl) and a step child (19 though) I pretty much raised him. I love the glitz and organization of your blog. I'm officially subscribing because there are so few of us here in Vegas and then to find another SAHM with twins in the blogging world...and in NV....OMG!!

Hi Jackie, I was at your extreme couponing 101 workshop yesterday. Thank you so much for doing this. It is definitely a labor of love. The site is beautiful, and I can't believe the amount of info compiled here. Amazing.

But since I have moved here i right away signed up for rewards card thru local stores. i thought i was saving already but not til i stared using mail coupons. and then now the internet coupons i really am excited and want to host a coupon party or attend coupon corse 101 so i may save more $$ for our family situation.
