About the free Tostitos...I never seem to get these "in-ad store coupons" in my ad. Recently I've missed out on free orange juice, free capri sun, etc. because these coupons are not anywhere in my ad. Any ideas why some people get them and some don't? I always get the in-ad coupons on the front right hand side, but I've never seen any for FREE anything...

I only know about the difference in the ones that they carry at the store - typically do not have all the coupons in them, they are replaced by ads. This particular one came in the mail with the ads, it is front page bottom left. If you are close with a neighbor or so, see if they got one on theirs.
ReplyDeletei'm new to your site so maybe you've addressed this before, but the last couple of times i've tried a catalina promo at my albertson's, i've had to reach the specified dollar amount AFTER coupons. so this time with the GM promotion, i would have to make sure my coupons didn't drop me below $15. the way you explained it above says you use the first number to add up to $15. so, i guess my question is, are other people in the valley having trouble with the albertsons catalina? could it be store specific? i'd appreciate any insight you have on this. thanks! i love your website!
ReplyDeleteThere has only been one time that I know of that had coupon exclusions. It doesn't say that and I have not run into that problem except for that day. I have not done this deal yet, but will let you know when I do. You may get to it before me. So, normally, I would say no - coupons do not matter unless specified. But, it is strict on only 1 per person! If it doesn't print, even though a pain - tell the manager. My Albertson's is very friendly to me, and trust me they see me coming! They always fix it when there is a problem.
