Friday, 1/29 - National Corn Chip Day (Frito Pie?)

Well, when I think of corn chips, my mind automatically goes to craving Frito Pie. A few months ago we ate some and I was telling a friend and she had NEVER heard of it. How could that be? So, it dawned on me to explain what it is just in case.

It is popular at the state fairs down south to order a Frito Pie. It is a serving size bag opened up and hot chili added on top. Lots of them also add chese to the top and/or onions. I like to add sour cream. Of course, you can do this in a bowl!

The Landy's will be having this tomorrow to celebrate!

Best Price for Fritos that I found: 3 for $5.00 at Food 4 Less. If you don't want to make a special trip just add it to your Wal-Mart or Target list and price match there.
