The Summerlin Council holds a Patriotic Parade every year and according to my forever friend Lisa (it is her family tradition to attend) it gets better every year. My family has never been, but we hope to attend our first parade this Saturday.Everyone is invited to show their colors at the Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade taking place Saturday, July 3rd. This time honored tradition allows friends, family and neighbors to gather for a good old-fashioned hometown parade right here in the streets of Summerlin!
Traveling along flag-lined streets from Hillpointe and Hills Center to the conclusion on Trailwood Drive, the Escort and Dignitary Parade steps-off at 8:30 a.m. with the main body of the parade beginning at 9 a.m. Arrive early to get a prime viewing area along the route.
