UPDATED: Thanks for all of your patience with my lack there of on postings last week. We had a fabulous brithday week and the party/movie was just AWESOME!!!
So, I need 180 boxes of cereal I need to host a 20 person Toy Story 3 movie bday party for my twins.
What? you say. Yes, you got that right... I am paying for their party for next to nothing.
$340 worth for 20 people to see the movie and each receive $5.00 concession cash.
It will cost me... approx. $100, that's a $240 savings plus I will have 180 boxes of cereal (deeply discounted)to show for it. So, essentially I am getting everything FREE!!!
Thank goodness the cereal is good till next year! Actually, I will be giving some cereal away obviously!!!

There are a few rules though that I must tell you about. Each person in your family can have an account and redeem codes that are 6 and up! You can only enter 5 codes a day, so plan this ahead of time.
The limit per account for this promo period is 30 codes. (For me that means 5 tickets/acct)
Thankfully there are 4 adults in the house that I can use.
Also, my oldest will have one and my friend has agreed to help.

A few details: my twins Jack & Jude (aka. Woody & Buzz)
are turning 5 on 6/15 right before the release 6/18.
So they would like a Toy Story 3 party.
First, I secured their tickets by buying the Toy Story and Toy Story 2 movies on Blu-Ray when they came out a short time ago. This was an offer from Disney.

Next, came this Kellogg's promotion:
So far I have secured 60 out of my 180 boxes of cereal goal.
UPDATE: Only needed 18 tickets and that included the twins!
So that changes my total to 150 boxes only. LOL

1) One week when we had the doubles... I got 5 boxes at $0.58 = $2.90 plus milk!!!
2) 5/4 ended a buy 4 get $4.00 catalina and started a new catalina, buy 4 get $3.00
They were priced at $2.49 (I could only find Mini Wheats that were marked)
- Used 9 $1.50/2 coupon (printed)
Final cost, $0.06 for 19 boxes.
3) Cereal hasn't been too cheap, so I am waiting, but can only wait a little longer. I decided to splurge a little and bought cereal at Wal-Mart with some high value coupons that were expiring. Cereal was priced, $2.50. I used $1.00/1 coupons. Final cost for 12 boxes, $18.00
4) Again, still not a fab sale, $2.50 per box. But, the party is next week and I need to get going because of the code limits. So, I purchased 24 more at K-mart. I received a Kellogg's reusable shopping bag too for each pair of cereals, that was pretty cool. 12 bags FREE!!! Also, I got $5.00 off after every 4 boxes because I was also purchasing Toy Story Mattel toys for presents. So, I received $30.00 back! I used 7 $1.00/2; 1 $1.50/3 and 5 $0.70 a $1.00/1 coupons that I had. For an additional = $13.00 off.
Final price, $17.00/24 boxes or $0.71 each
5) Vons had a great sale, $1.99 for Frosted Flakes and you got $4.00 off wyb 8 on a mix and match sale. So that made them $1.49 each and I had a coupon! $1.00/2.
Final price, $0.99 each times 40 = $40.00
6) The party was in 3 days, so I had to purchase the remaining 50 at K-mart. I received a Kellogg's reusable shopping bag too for each pair of cereals, that was pretty cool. 12 bags FREE!!! Also, I got $5.00 off after every 4 boxes because I was also purchasing Toy Story Mattel toys for presents. So, I received $60.00 back!
I also had coupons 10 $1.00/1, 10 $1.50/3
Final price, $40.00/50 boxes or $0.80 each
