The Sound of Music is celebrating their 45th Anniversary!
I just LOVE The Sound of Music! I will be singing for days after seeing it in theatres, actually I am already singing.

To celebrate the 45th Anniversary of The Sound of Music, they will release it for 2 showings in over 500 select theatres across the country as a historic Sing-A-Long event. Vegas will have several theatres showing this on Tuesday, October 19th and 26th at 6:30pm. The Sound of Musice Sing-Along Event will also include the exclusive "I'll Sing Once More: The Sound of Musice Today" featurette. To find a city near you visit here.

On November 2nd, it will also be available in a 3-Disc Blu-ray and DVD Combo Pack.
  And for a limited time, The Sound of Music will be available in an individually numbered Limited Collector’s Set packaged in a keepsake box and featuring a 100-page “My Favorite Things” scrapbook, a 45^th Anniversary Soundtrack, a reproduction of the original 1965 souvenir program, an exclusive hand-painted “My Favorite Things” music box and more.
