Go Red Today - Fight Heart Disease in Women

This post may contain affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

Today is American Heart Association's Annual National Wear Red Day, 2/3. This is so near and dear to my heart as so many women are affected by this. I speak about this every year, so if you have already heard it...sorry for the repeat. I have a heart condition that I was born with and I have been truly blessed to be able to live a "normal life" relatively unaffected by my condition. Having been a child at summer heart camp each year, I know many others that aren't as fortunate and even though this mission is about Heart Disease today, I want to help spread the word in all matters of the heart. I hope that we can continue to conduct effective research and lower chances for women. As more women die of heart disease than all forms of cancer combined.

To those supporting, wearing the pin or just wearing red today - THANK YOU!

It is a way to remember the women we have lost and for the women still fighting this deadly disease.

Dedicated to my dear friend: Leila - you'll never be forgotten!
