DiaperPods is really is an advancement in diaper technology. As of mom of twin identical boys and a younger son...I cannot begin to tell you just how many diapers I have changed. We have tried ever diaper genie, pod and just baggies on the market. And now I've been given the opportunity to try DiaperPods.
One of my favorite things about the DiaperPods is the convenience of never having to worry about having bags or not. I can remember the times where I had to turn to just a grocery bag because we were out once we had changed to the bag system. Talk about stinky!!! There is no protection from the grocery bag and all those genie contraptions and such in my opinion still smell...the poor soul that has to change those. Not to mention the cost of refills...babies are expensive enough. So, we were content with the baggie method when AJ (our youngest) was born and plan on using the same method for the new baby (due in August). I also like that it is convenient for diaper bag packing and such - it really does take a step out of the equation.So as you can see from the demo above it controls odor and provides a convenient and sanitary disposal method, in the form of a disposable receptacle built right into a diaper. Designed with safety and sanitation in mind, the receptacle is packed and sealed into a pod located in the rear of the diaper.
While DiaperPods are not available on the market yet...I LOVE the idea and hope they partner with the diaper manufacturers out today - to bring us this option in our diapers - way cool!
