Gladiators of Rome debuted on DVD on February 17th.
From Paramount Home Media Distribution and writer/director Iginio Straffi
(“Winx Club”) comes this hilarious story of an unlikely hero.
Set in the golden age of the Roman Empire, Timo, a student at the Gladiators' Academy in Rome, has no desire to become a legendary gladiator like his stepfather. Until...a woman, who else, the mesmerizing Lucilla walks into his life. With the help of his sidekicks, Timo embarks on an action-packed journey to become the Colosseum’s first victor.

I loved the scenery of this film for this genre. My kids laughed a ton (fart humor) gets them every time!  The story line and humor was also aimed at the grown-ups. Very entertaining for the whole family. Even though this story line is about gladiators and the mention of the fight to the death, there are no major blood scenes to explain. I love the mix of history, mythology and characters.

Gladiators of Rome is available on DVD for $22.99 on Amazon
or Instant Video on HD $14.99 or SD $12.99.
