I am a fan of Old Orchard already, you can always find their frozen juices in my freezer.
Now the brand I love and trust is kicking up the party by adding mixers!
I tried these and I LOVE all 3 flavors!
I recently hosted a family gathering of some old school friends of my kids' and their parents.
When it came to preparing drinks for our pool party, something frozen had to be on the menu.
But, with as a mom managing 4 kids in the pool, I needed something quick I could serve.
It doesn't get much simpler than to whip up a frozen treat when entertaining from a mixer.
You just add ice and either water or alcohol to the mix in a blender and serve!
At the price point of about $1.98 each, I was able to pick up a few of each.
My sons (10, 10, 8, and 3) were able to enjoy a refreshing non-alcoholic frozen drink in the pool
with friends. While us moms, were able to lounge back with an alcoholic version.
To make them non-alcoholic, you just add water in place of the alcohol.
I did, however, try the Strawberry Daiquiri and Margarita flavors without the alcohol and they were just as yummy. They both tasted fresh with a hint of tartness. The kids loved the non-alcoholic Strawberry Daiquiri. It had a great sweet berry flavor. One of my boys, Jude, loves Piña Coladas (non-alcoholic) of course and he thought this mix had the right blend of both coconut and pineapple.
All Old Orchard mixers are made with real fruit juices and you can taste it in the quality. My friend, Shanon, is known for making her own drinks from scratch and typically avoids mixes all around, and she also thought they were delicious. She was raving about how she was going to have to grab some for her freezer. Let's face it, sometimes you just need things to be quick and easy!
Let's talk value!!! Each can makes 6 8oz drinks, so you really do "get your bang for your buck".
And this may sound silly, but I LOVE the plastic cans as opposed to cardboard.
Not only are they leak-proof, but you can microwave them, yet they are still recyclable.
I just popped mine into the microwave for a few seconds to make it easier to get all the mix out.
I seem to not plan ahead at those things, so I forget to leave them out a bit on the counter.
This cut the prep time and that was a win for me.
