How to Receive a Letter from Santa with Special Holiday Postmarks from the North Pole & More!

Every year, we mail out our letters to Santa via the R.H. Macy Santa Mailbox at Macy's with their Believe project. To read about this great giving back tradition and how to participate, go here.

Once our letters have been mailed, I love to mail the kids one back from Santa.
I wait about a week and either stick it in the mailbox or have it actually mailed to them from one of the post offices with their special holiday postmark.

To do this, go here and select from images and templates and customize part of your letter.
Download and print it out. They do offer a printed envelope too for an additional cost, $2.99.
But the actual download and standard print or email or FREE!!! 

Now...how to mail it back to them? Simply, put it in your mailbox, no mailing required.
But, you can have it mailed...I love enhancing this by selecting a holiday postmark.
For example, RUDOLPH, WI or North Pole, AK.
This complimentary service is provided by the United States Postal Service!

Directions:

1. Print the Letter.
2. Place it in an envelope addressed to your child with your address.
3. Place a Christmas stamp on the envelope.
4. Place that SASE (Self Addressed Stamp Envelope) in a Larger Envelope and mail it to:
5. Post Master - Christmas Re-Mailing
6. City, State, Zip (see list below)
7. Include a note that you would like the letter Post-Marked with their Special Christmas Post Mark.
8. To ensure delivery in time for Christmas, items should be received at the post office by Dec. 15th.
